# Still turning a question over?

Common questions, answered directly. No medical vocabulary required.

Start with the question closest to yours. For an answer about your own care, bring it to the person assessing you.

## Does an online form mean the care is poor?

Medical-board guidance checked September 26, 2026 says treatment decisions need more than a fixed online form; the clinician must be able to gather further information.

Ask whether the clinician can return with questions and whether you can ask your own. The form's existence is not the whole story.

## Does generic mean compounded?

As of September 26, 2026, patients in the US cannot get an approved generic of semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) or tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound).

Generic is the term for an approved version of a branded medicine.

Compounded means prepared to order.

Ask which term the offer is using.

## Does a local stock problem change the rules?

The FDA's national shortage listing is different from a local pharmacy running out.

As of September 26, 2026, semaglutide injection and tirzepatide are not listed in national shortage.

FDA means Food and Drug Administration.

Federal law limits making copies of ready-made medicines.

If a local pharmacy is out of stock, ask: Why is this custom medicine being proposed? What allows it to be made for me? Please explain the medical need for the change, rather than just the stock problem.

## Does no facility listing mean a clinic is unlawful?

As of October 3, 2026, many Arizona health professionals with state licences can use a private office without a separate licence for the place itself.

Freestanding urgent-care centres and overnight stays fall outside this exemption, as does general anaesthesia except where dental law allows an exception.

General anaesthesia means medicine used to make a patient unconscious for a procedure.

Abortion clinics and pain-management clinics, as defined in the law, are also outside this exemption.

A missing facility entry alone cannot tell you which rule applies. Ask the office why it does not need that licence, then ask Arizona's health department to confirm. Check the treating person's professional licence separately.

## What can I do with an unanswered question?

Bring your question, health details, and any offer you are considering to the person assessing you. Ask what information is still needed and how it could be gathered.

Medical jargon can be questioned

## Can you explain that?

Ask for the answer in plain words, then ask for it in writing if that helps.
